Bring a Friend Terms and Conditions

The reward for the recruitment of a student or an attendee will only be paid out if the recruited person has enrolled at a study programme at IU (Speexx is not a valid study programme), has begun the study programme, and the applicable withdrawal period has elapsed without notice of termination. For claiming the payout, it is necessary that the referred person names the recommender in the online application of IU International University of Applied Sciences along with the recommender’s official IU e-mail address. After the application no recommendation is possible anymore. A reward will not be paid if the recruited person has already contacted IU before he/she was recruited. In addition, the commercial marketing of the Bring a Friend campaign on websites or in similar forms is strictly prohibited. Staff members of IU Group, IU Unibuddy Student Ambassadors or any of its subsidiaries, are not eligible to participate in the Bring a Friend campaign.    

Reward will be paid within eight weeks after these conditions have been fulfilled. The reward will be paid in cash, via bank transfers, to persons who have an IBAN bank account in Euro currency. All others, as an alternative, will receive a value voucher for the equivalent amount of the cash bonus. Vouchers will be sent within eight weeks after the relevant conditions have been fulfilled.   

All existing IU students, whether studying online or on campus, can participate and recommend their family, friends and colleagues to the IU. Students can combine the ‘Bring A Friend’ campaign with any other IU promotional offers or campaigns.   

The IU shall assume no liability for the due fulfilment of orders by third party online voucher websites operating in different countries. In no event shall the IU be liable for any claims, penalties, loss, damage or expenses, howsoever arising, out of or in connection with your use of these third party online voucher websites, including, without limitation, direct or indirect loss, consequential loss or damage, loss of profit or goodwill, loss of data, loss arising from use or inability to use these websites, loss arising from any errors or omissions in the Website as a result of a breach of contract, negligence, delict. In no event shall the IU be liable for any human loss or personal injury caused or suffered, at the operating units of these third party voucher websites, due to negligence or man-made events or due to natural calamities.
