What is meant by applied artificial intelligence?

Applied artificial intelligence is the practical implementation of AI techniques and technologies to solve real world problems. This involves using AI algorithms, models and tools to develop systems and applications that can perform intelligent tasks, make predictions and automate processes. It aims to leverage AI capabilities to address specific challenges and provide tangible solutions, rather than purely focusing on theoretical research or development.

What is difference between AI and applied AI?

The main difference between AI and applied AI is in their focus and scope. AI is a broader field of study that encompasses the development of intelligent machines and systems capable of mimicking human intelligence. Applied AI, on the other hand, refers to the actually applying AI techniques to solve complex real world challenges. Applied AI takes the principles and algorithms from AI and applies them in a variety of industries to develop practical solutions and make informed decisions. Simply put, while AI is about the foundations of intelligent systems, applied AI focuses on its application in real world settings.
