Meet the event hosts: 


Prof. Florian Hummel has been Professor of Strategic Management and Vice-Rector for International Affairs at IU International University since 2017. 

With a BA from the University of Brighton and an MSc from Cranfield University, he wrote his Doctorate dissertation at the University of Sheffield on "An analysis of the effects of the Bologna Declaration on higher and vocational education".  

Prof. Hummel began his professional career in a large US company before moving to the higher education sector. For the past 20 years, he has worked at various Universities - as faculty member, Dean, Vice-President and CEO. He has been an external examiner at several UK Universities.  

His area of special interest lies in the field of digital international HigherEd collaboration and accreditation, such as online dual degree development, articulation agreements & pathways.

John Meletiadis Ed.D  

Center for Global Business Programs | About the Assistant Dean | Pace University New York 

 John Meletiadis currently serves as Assistant Dean of The Center for Global Business Programs (CGBP) and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Lubin School of Business, Pace University. In this role he is in charge of the strategic and operational management of the Center, specifically the sourcing and execution of custom business programs and Lubin Travel Courses. John works closely with Lubin faculty and department chairs organizing international field study trips, as well as with Deans and Directors of business schools throughout the globe to forge new partnerships with Lubin. 

John successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at New York University in 2014. His dissertation focused on the academic, social and cultural integration of international students in U.S. higher and postsecondary education. He is a 2003 graduate of Georgetown University's MBA program, where he specialized in Marketing and International Business. He completed his undergraduate degree in Economics and Political Science from New York University in 1998, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude. Prior to joining the Center, John worked as a PricewaterhourseCoopers (PwC) consultant and a Citibank financial analyst. 

John also completed Pace University's inaugural two-year Fast-Paced Leadership Development Program in 2013. 

 

Brian Pew is the Director of the Center of Global Business Programs (CGBP) at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business located in New York City’s Financial District. A native New Yorker, he has worked at Pace in this area for 25 years where he has developed and managed custom business programs, hosting students and faculty from all over the world. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia and was an exchange student at Aix-Marseille University in France.
