Costs for MBA in Germany at IU
IU believes everyone deserves a chance to change their future through higher education – regardless of origin, economic status, or social circumstances. That’s why we offer discounts of up to 25% to offset your tuition fees in Germany.
The cost of our MBA programme in Germany starts from €807 per month, full-time.
Note: An additional €1,500 campus registration fee is charged on top of the tuition fees.
How to apply for an MBA in Germany at IU

1. Get to know us

2. Choose your programme
Need more information on your preferred MBA programme? Simply fill in your details in the form located on any of our study programme pages, or just click the “Request free information” button at the top of the page. We'll send you a personalised IU brochure, packed with essential information about your prospective studies, straight to your inbox.

3. Apply online
Once you are ready, it's time to apply online. Click on the 'Apply now' button to fill out and submit the online application form.
It's free and quick – and takes less than 10 minutes! Our Study Advisors can help you in filling out your online application during a phone call.
4. Sign your contract
Once we've received your online application, we will send you a personalised study contract to your inbox. Read through, sign it digitally, and upload it to your personal upload page.
This study contract details your study fees, starting date, and a checklist of application documents that must be submitted for successful enrolment.
5. Upload documents and pay campus fee
Depending on the MBA programme you choose, you'll need to submit specific documents. You can find these requirements on our website or in the checklist in your contract.
Simply upload all the documents to your personal upload page, and we'll review them within five business days. You will also need to pay the one-time €1500 campus registration fee.
6. Apply for your student visa
With the Letter of Admission from IU, you can apply for a student visa* at your Embassy. Need help with the visa application process? We can connect you with our trusted visa partners, who will help you throughout this process – free of charge!
*Chinese, Indian, and Vietnamese students also need to provide an APS certificate for their student visa application. Please note that this may cause a delay in obtaining your visa.
7. Start your studies in Germany
Once you've arrived in Germany, you will need to register on campus. Then, you’ll receive an email with login details for all the systems you'll need during your studies: the IU Learn app, myCampus, and your student e-mail.
