Berlin Studentenwerk & Semester Ticket Fees
Studentenwerk Berlin
Every student at IU’s Berlin Campus must pay a fee per each semester for the use of the facilities of the Studentenwerk. This amount is billed in addition to the tuition fees and is due no later than one month before the start of the respective campus semester.
The Berlin Studentenwerk fee is currently set at €190.00 per semester.
Semester Ticket Berlin
For any full semester the student attends on-campus in one of IU’s campuses in Germany, the student is obliged to purchase the semester ticket for the public transport network at the respective university location. This only applies if, and as long as, there is a semester ticket option at the university location. The costs for the semester ticket are to be paid in advance for one semester, no later than one month before the beginning of a semester. The cost of a semester ticket is set each year by the transport association.
The Berlin Semester Ticket is currently set at €210.30 per semester.

Bad Honnef Campus Card Deposit & Semester Ticket Fees
Campus Card Bad Honnef
Students enrolled at the Bad Honnef campus are entitled to utilise a one-time offer on all diverse food and beverage facilities and services up to an amount of €100. This offer is dependent on the current supplies and availability of the respective caterers on campus. The benefit sum is not able to be claimed in cash, or to be paid out to the student. In order to take advantage of the food and beverage services on campus the student must be in possession of a valid campus card.
A €10.00 deposit for said campus card will be charged.
